Panasonic has just unveiled their thinnest and lightest Toughbook ever in the Toughbook F9. While it's not quite as tough as some of its chunkier cousins, for rough users who value portability, the trade-off is easily worth it. The Panasonic Toughbook F9 features a 14.1" 1440x900 resolution, and is powered by an Intel Core i5-520M CPU, 2GB DDR3 RAM and a 320GB HDD. Other options include Qualcomm Gobi2000 mobile broadband, Bluetooth, WiMAX and more. As far as ruggedness goes, the HDD is shock-mounted, the keyboard is spill resistant, and the laptop can withstand a drop of up to 30". The Toughbook F9 has a battery life approaching 7 hours and weighs only 3.6lbs. It also comes with a carrying handle. It will be available in July starting at $2,899
