| Toshiba is tipped to release a new netbook that will be powered by the Nvidia Tegra platform. However it will run Android 2.1 OS rather than Windows or Linux. The 10.1-inch Toshiba AC100 netbook is going to run the latest generation of Tegra processor that provides energy efficient performance along with casual game playing capability and up to full HD 1080p playback support. The netbook comes with 512MB RAM and a 16GB SSD. Storage can be increased through SDHC card reader. There is a 1.3MP webcam as well as a HDMI port and gives Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity options. The netbook comes bundled with a 3-cell battery that is rated at 4-5 hours runtime. Pricing and availability details are yet to come.
